Safety protocols
Everyone goes home safe and smiling. These simple guidelines keep our boats, e-bikes, and trails fun and secure for all visitors.
Boat rental safety
Wear your life jacket
A properly fitted PFD is required for every person on the water — all sizes provided free at the dock.
Stay in sight of the dock
Keep the marina dock in view at all times. Paddle along the shoreline, not across the open reservoir.
Watch the wind
Wind picks up fast in the afternoon. If the water looks choppy or staff raise an amber flag, head back in.
Last boat out 6:30 PM
All boats must return by 6:30 PM sharp — no exceptions, even on calm evenings.
E-bike safety
Helmets required
A helmet is provided and must be worn at all times while riding — no exceptions.
Stay on marked trails
Follow signed routes only. Do not cut through private property or off-trail meadows.
Signal and yield
Ring the bell when approaching walkers. Yield to pedestrians and horses — they always have right of way.
Ride within your ability
Keep to a comfortable speed, especially on gravel and descents. Brake early on downhill sections.
Trail etiquette
- Keep right, pass on the left — call out before passing.
- Dogs welcome on leash only. Please clean up after your pet.
- Pack out everything you bring in. Leave no trace.
- No motorized vehicles on trails or shoreline.
- Respect wildlife — observe quietly from a distance.
- No swimming in the reservoir near the dock.
